THE ORIGIN STORY

In 2015, CJ and Jennifer planted their first five acres of grapes. Kubacak Vineyards now sits on 65 acres of vines. We have planted special varietals not often seen in Texas. We currently have Tempranillo, Sangiovese, Gruner Veltiner, Picpoul Blanc, Roussanne, Graciano, Petit Manseng, Riesling, Gewurztraminer, Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, and Merlot.

GROWING LOCAL TO THE WEST TEXAS AREA

Yellow House Cellars is quickly becoming a reputable name for high-quality wines in the West Texas area. We opened in 2021, but we are not new to the game. CJ and Jennifer Kubacak planted their first grapes in 2015 and have continued to expand ever since.

This continuous evolution has resulted in superior quality grapes that have won awards across the country. The next step was an easy choice. We have now started our own wine label to share our passion of growing the finest quality grapes in Texas with our friends and neighbors in the High Plains.

OUR GRAPES

All of the fruit that goes into every bottle of Yellow House Cellars wine is grown here on our farm just southwest of New Home, Texas in Lynn County. We are one of only a handful of wineries in Texas where you can walk out of our tasting room and see every vine that produces fruit for our label.
